Why did God create the stars?

To declare His Glory

Psalm 19:1: The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.

Stars in the Bible

Gen:1:16: And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Gen:15:5: And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Gen:26:4: And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

Isa:45:18: For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Jer:10:12: He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
